Paper Submissions

Dear colleagues, the World Conference on Timber Engineering 2021 has currently two parallel processes for paper submission. The first one is for those who already have accepted abstracts, and now have to submit their full version, until the deadline on December 31st, 2020. The second one, is a second call for abstracts for everybody who would like to participate in the conference with new contributions, until the deadline on December 31st, 2020. Please read below for more information on both processes.

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

The first abstract review process has concluded, and the final results can be accessed here. We would like to thank you all for your hard work, especially during these challenging times.

Now, would like to invite you to upload your final paper in the registration system. The submission of your final papers will be available until December 31st, 2020.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION < 2ND PROCESS >

The WCTE 2021 is pleased to announce that from this November 1st until December 31st 2020, we will be receiving new abstracts for our conference! We encourage everyone to participate in this second call for papers uploading your two-page extended abstract in the registration system, which can be found below.

All received abstracts will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee of the WCTE 2021. The abstracts should bring to the discussion new information, therefore, all presented articles must be unpublished. Thus, if the paper presented for the WCTE is also sent to another conference, journal, magazine, or any other means of communication, it will not be accepted or published afterwards.

Download the WCTE 2021 Templates Create your Account Log In

  • Login and go to «Upload Paper»
  • Select Doc/Docx file and PDF File (less than 20MB)
  • Click File Upload Button.
  • After this, if you decide to upload a different file, click the “Remove Paper (DOCX)/(PDF)” button, and proceed again with steps 1, 2, and 3.

Procedure for Registration

  • Login and go to «Register»
  • Fill in the form
  • Select the corresponding registration fee.

  • Click the “SEND” button located on the lower right side of your screen

We are pleased to invite you to participate in this new version of WCTE uploading your abstracts in the registration system!

As one of the main meetings in this matter, this conference is the center of the discussion about the latest advances related to timber construction, sustainable forest management, public policies and new construction solutions, and can be considered a huge platform for diffusion.

The submission of abstracts will be available until November 30th 2019.
To make sure that the documents have high quality, all abstracts will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee. The abstracts should bring to the discussion new information, so the ones previously published or presented at international meetings will not be accepted unless it is proven that new data about the subject is provided.

Topics are the following:

  2. WOOD PRODUCT AND CONNECTIONS
  3. TIMBER ENGINEERING
  4. TIMBER ARCHITECTURE
  5. BUILDING AND ENVIRONMENT IMPACT
  6. POLICIES, IMPLEMENTATION AND MANAGEMENT
  7. EDUCATION, PROMOTION AND FUTURE TRENDS

The abstracts can be assigned to more than one topic and subtopic, but the preferences on which they are defined will be taken into account.

  • Fill in the form
  • Select Doc/Docx file and PDF File (less than 10MB)
  • Click File Upload Button.
  • You can choose “Save” or “Save and Exit” if you want to continue you upload process later. If you choose “Save and Publish”, you will no longer be able to edit8 your application.

Procedure for Registration

  • Login and go to «Register»
  • Fill in the form
  • Select the corresponding registration fee
  • Click the “SEND” button located on the lower right side of your screen
