ABSTRACT SUBMISSION < 2ND PROCESS >

The WCTE 2021 is pleased to announce that from this November 1st until December 31st 2020, we will be receiving new abstracts for our conference! We encourage everyone to participate in this second call for papers uploading your two-page extended abstract in the registration system, which can be found below.

All received abstracts will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee of the WCTE 2021. The abstracts should bring to the discussion new information, therefore, all presented articles must be unpublished. Thus, if the paper presented for the WCTE is also sent to another conference, journal, magazine, or any other means of communication, it will not be accepted or published afterwards.

If you have doubts, please check the FAQ section below.

FAQ “Abstract Submission <2ND PROCESS>”

  • Of course! You are more than welcome to send new abstracts in this second call for papers, as long as you have not reached a maximum of 5 accepted papers per registration.

  • The maximum number of accepted papers that an author can present in the conference, whether orally or as a poster, is 5. Thus, if you want to submit more contributions to the conference, there are two points you need to take into consideration.
  • Firstly, since there is a maximum of 5 presentations, whether oral or as poster, per author, if you want to submit more contributions, you could delegate the task of presenting to a co-author, who has not reached this limit.
  • Secondly, you also need to keep in mind that each paid registration allows a maximum of 5 contributions.

  • But please keep in mind that regardless of who presents the work afterwards, the full paper has to be linked to the registration fee of the presenter.

  • While we encourage everybody to participate in this second process, we opened this possibility for new contributions. Thus, if you already have an accepted abstract from the first process, this cannot be withdrawn and resubmitted in this new call.

  • Second abstract submission process: November 1st - December 31st, 2020.
  • Second abstract review process: January 1st - February 28th, 2021.
  • Second call for abstract results: March 1st - March 5th, 2021.
  • Second full paper submission: March 5th - May 30th, 2021
  • Second full paper submission deadline: May 30th, 2021.

  • All accepted papers, whose authors’ have uploaded the full paper within the deadline and pay the registration fee, will be published in the WCTE 2021 book of abstracts and sent afterwards for indexation.

  • Just like in the first process of abstract acceptance, all works sent in this second call for papers will go through a review process by our Scientific Committee, who will decide if said work is accepted or rejected for the WCTE 2021.

  • The two-page extended abstract must be uploaded in the same conference platform used for the first process, or in the following link in the conference format.

  • The template in which the two-page extended abstract must be uploaded, can be found in the following link.

  • So authors can present a more detailed abstract, and our Scientific Committee can have a better understanding of the work done, you should submit a two-page extended abstract in this process.

  • The WCTE 2021 has a face-to-face format, which requires authors to come and present their work at the conference venue. If you cannot come to present, it is possible to delegate this task to a co-author who is able to come.

  • If you have any problems regarding the platform, whereas it is creating an account, password or uploading your files, please contact Daniel at daniel@eventualchile.com.

As one of the main meetings in this matter, this conference is the center of the discussion about the latest advances related to timber construction, sustainable forest management, public policies and new construction solutions, and can be considered a huge platform for diffusion.
