Travelling to Santiago – Chile
Passport and Visas
In order to enter Chile as a tourist you will need a valid passport. However, citizens from the following countries can enter the country with their valid identity cards:
- Argentina
- Bolivia
- Brazil
- Colombia
- Ecuador
- Paraguay
- Peru
- Uruguay

Getting to the City
After exiting Customs and the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) within the airport, there will be a blue arrow on the ground that will guide you to the counters, where you will be able to choose from within a variety of means of transportation that will take you to your accommodation. Arriving to Santiago – Chile
Airport
The International Airport Arturo Merino Benítez is located in the Municipality of Pudahuel, within Santiago, and it is the biggest airport in Chile, comprising most of the national and international flights in the country.
Nowadays, the airport is open, but under construction, so as to enlarge its international terminal. However, all the accommodations have been made so this project will not disturb passengers arriving or leaving the country.
Also, the airport features facilities for people with reduced mobility (free of charge), which may include people in wheelchairs, pregnant women, elderly people, visually or hearing-impaired people, among others. Whoever needs any of the services provided is encouraged to require them in the following link at least 48 hrs. before flying:
Travel to WCTE2020 Conference Venue
The Sheraton Hotel is located at Avenida Santa María 1742, Providencia, Santiago.
The Conference Venue is only 800 meters away from subway station Pedro de Valdivia.
Also, several buses reach the closest bus stop – PC317-Parada/Clínica Indisa – which is only 350 meters away from the venue. These buses are:

Travel to Vista Santiago (Closing Ceremony)
Vista Santiago is located in Cerro San Cristóbal interior, Providencia. Since this location is situated at the top of the San Cristobal Hill, the WCTE2020 organization will provide attendants with bus services to reach the closing ceremony venue.
